Thanks for the positive feedback Aaron and Molly, but I actually didn't do anything out of the ordinary. Since it is a powerpoint file all I had to do was change them from XL icons to the 4000 icons and tweak the sizes because they did come up more larger than the XL ones. I always wondered what that version of the XL would be like if it had the 4000 icons to start off so it was another one of my random ideas.

Test #2 - I'm not sure why it took so long for the text to appear like it did, it was set to appear at the same time of the warning tone. I also changed the font for the title bar to the right font from the first test last night.

NOTE - ALL WEATHER DATA IS FAKE, ONLY THE TORNADO WARNING CRAWL WAS REAL (The warning was from a county in Central Florida.)

NOTE - All weather data is fake, only the information on the warning crawl is real information. I know the crawl is moving slowly, but it's also smoother than the last two tests on the XL. I'm gonna work on that because I'm still tweaking with the timing. Flood Warning Crawl is from Atlanta(Fulton Co.) in GA.

WeatherStar XL V2 Emulation with Errors!

8 years ago in April 2002 TWC began departing ways with the NWS for local forecasts and began making their own home bred forecasts. Because of that, I removed the NOAA logo and the NWS text from the 36 hr forecast screen and the Current Condition narration is still being pulled from the airport obs. instead of the downtown area obs. There are also some more errors; can you spot them all out?

Also I can't take any credit for the animated Isolated Thunderstorm icon that was made by Martin I just wanted to see if it would lag under the recording program I used to record this emulation.

This is an emulation of the current version of the IntelliStar without the metro maps, schoolday forecast, and the traffic flow map. I also experimented with something once the Getaway forecast comes up.

The audio and narration was ripped from one of my IntelliStar recordings.
